Volunteer Opportunities

Winnipeg Harvest relies on volunteers for every aspect of our operation.

Individuals: If you are an individual interested in sharing your time, please contact us to set up an orientation.  Please note that youth under the age of 16 require adult supervision.

Groups: We welcome groups such as schools, faith communities and businesses that want to volunteer.  We are able to accommodate groups up to a maximum of 25 people (including leaders).

Work Experience: We frequently partner with schools and community programs to provide their participants with meaningful volunteer placements where they can grow and improve their job skills.

May 2013

The pre-sort team; Bob Malo, Diana Jarvis, Sarah Suleiman, Jane Curtis, Don Harms, Jamie Sotlar, Walter Doerksen, Bob Cauthers, Don Milne, Earl Oliver and Tom Crew are our consistent pre-sort team who spend their time checking and sorting all the food comes from the back door before they go to the sortation area. Their wonderful efforts to make our warehouse running are deserved a recognition. Thanks for all of your hard work folks!
