Individual Assistance
Winnipeg Harvest assists clients to advocate for themselves and may speak on behalf of its clients and others living with hunger and poverty when appropriate. A community-based person is available to help those encountering problems with, for example, the Employment and Income Assistance (welfare) system or tenancy issues. We also provide the community with information about how to access available benefits and resources. Winnipeg Harvest basis its calls for systematic change on lessons learned from individual advocacy.
