Position Meal Snack Lead
Days Tues – Thurs, 1-2 shifts a week, min. 3 month commitment
Shifts  

Tuesday – Thursday 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Description Meet with Associate Agencies and introduce them to the Meal Snack Program
Guiding agency representatives in acquiring high quality and nutritious Meal/Snack items with a specific scheduled time frame
Track no-shows, cancelations, lates and agency closures
Organize meal/snack line and Meal Snack shelves
Enter weights of orders on excel spreadsheet
Maintaining and building positive relationships with agency representatives, maintain and update agency info, accept and set up visits with new agencies once approved by Agency Administrator
Working closely with Order Filler Supervisors to determine selected food items for distribution through the Meal/Snack Program
Directing agencies to the Agency Host/Hostess
Cleaning designated work areas
Comfortable working in a warehouse setting
Characteristics Friendly and outgoing
Ability to communicate effectively in English (speak, read and write); ability to speak other languages is an asset
Computer literacy an asset
Comfortable taking and giving direction
Commitment to providing a high standard of service and an atmosphere of respect and dignity in all aspects of the program, including dealing with sensitive information
Able to work independently and take initiative, as well as work cooperatively within a team
Enjoys working with a wide variety of people, including children, adults, seniors, and people with disabilities
Ability to multi-task, problem solve and remain flexible within a fast-paced and changing environment
Consistent ability to remain positive and calm when responding to challenging situations
Adaptable – enjoys the challenge of changing situations
