Our Public Education team works with clients and organizations to help those who live with hunger and poverty. The goal is to support clients as they move from emergency food to independent, healthy living.
At the same time, this Public Education team works to raise awareness of food security and to address the underlying assumptions and challenges of people who live in poverty. We provide a variety of support services, including referrals to appropriate resources.
Winnipeg Harvest continues to reach the community by providing talks and tours so that others can learn about poverty and hunger in our community. By providing guidance, direction and information, we strive to be the positive building blocks for change.
