Initiated in 1989, HungerCount is the only national survey of emergency food programs in Canada. This information provided in this survey is invaluable, forming the basis of many of Food Banks Canada activities throughout the year.

Linking individuals to new knowledge is our team member of the month. We have the students volunteering through this program for over 8 years and they also won the Mayor’s Volunteer Services Award in 2012. They work primarily in the pre-sort area every Thursday and Friday afternoon . Together they show team spirit, hard work, and dedication to fighting hunger and feeding hope.
