Position Bread Room Assistant
Days Mon – Sat, 1-2 shifts a week, min. 3 month commitment
Shifts Monday – Saturday: Morning (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.), Afternoon (12 – 3 p.m. or 3 – 5:30 p.m.)

Monday – Friday: Evenings (5:30 – 8:30 p.m.)

Description Sort bread and pastries according to date, with guidance from Bread Room Lead
Rotate bread according to line numbers and date
Must be able to properly read best before dates
Must be capable of deciphering “good quality control” in regard to: proper packaging and proper product rotation
Ensure products are put into proper category (fridge, shelves or trays)
Ensure proper breakdown of packaging, recycling, composting and waste
Encourage Team Members to keep all areas clean
Follow Health & Safety policies
Comfortable working in a warehouse setting and wearing proper closed-toe shoes (runners)
Must be able to lift 10 lbs.

English reading comprehension, to correctly read dates
