EMPTY BOWLS SOUP-ER LUNCH
Please join us at the MTS Centre on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 from 11am-2pm for a tasty lunch of soups and breads in support of Winnipeg Harvest. Join MC Big Daddy Tazz and a host of media personalitites as they raffle off their decorated bowls. Don't forget to enter at the door for a chance to win Winnipeg Jets tickets and Winnipeg Jet merchandise.

eg Harvest would like to extend a huge THANKS to one of our corporate partners, Unisource Canada Inc. Unisource Canada Inc. has greatly contributed to Winnipeg Harvest’s goal of ending hunger in Manitoba.
They have donated volunteer hours, items for our events and raised funds to benefit Winnipeg Harvest. For the past two years, they have provided Winnipeg Harvest’s Empty Bowls Souper Lunch with napkins, spoons and soup containers. They have spent time in our warehouse sorting food and have come together as a staff during their “Winnipeg Harvest Week” to collect non-perishable food items and monetary donations for Winnipeg Harvest.
Since 2009, Unisource Canada Inc. has held their annual Golf for a Purpose golf tournament to benefit Winnipeg Harvest. This August 10th marks their third consecutive year with this event. To date, the totals raised from this golf tournament is $25,500! This contribution helps Winnipeg Harvest to continue to distribute food to over 57,000 people every month.
Together we have built a relationship of support that we value greatly. We would like to THANK YOU, Unisource Canada, for your continued support and contributions.

October 14: Winnipeg Zombie Walk - Steven Juba Park, 7pm-10pm. Bring a Tin for the Bin.
October 14-16: International Wine Festival of Manitoba at The Forks Market - Free Admission, 50 cents per sample. Proceeds go to Winnipeg Harvest.
October 17: Denny's (4100 Portage Ave. - Headingly) - $2 Original Grand Slam, 7am-2pm. All proceeds go to Winnipeg Harvest.
October 18-24: Denny's (4100 Portage Ave. - Headingly) - $1 Pancake Puppies. All proceeds go to Winnipeg Harvest.
October 22: Winnipeg Blue Bombers - Canad Inns Stadium, 2pm. Bring a Tin for the Bin
October 22-23: Winnipeg Green Lifestyle & Organic Living Show - Winnipeg Convention Centre. Bring a Tin for the Bin.
